Can anyone buy at proper-auctions?
Yes, as long as they register. Most proper auctions are open to the public, and none of them require a dealer license to participate.
Where do I get my bidder credentials?
For registrations received two weeks before the auction start, credentials are mailed to the bidder. For all other registrations, credentials can be picked up at bidder registration which is located at the auction entrance.
How do I bid?
Bidding can be done in-person at the auction, via the internet, or by phone. You must register to bid prior to or at the auction.
How do I pay for my purchases?
Purchases can be paid for via cash, check (personal or company), certified funds or wire transfer (credit/debit cards are only accepted for the payment of Road Art purchases). Bidders can also apply for financing through proper-auctions prior to or during the auction.

Yes. In-person bidder registrations include one bidder badge and one guest pass. These credentials grant admission for all auction days. Registered bidders can also purchase additional guest passes.
What are the advantages of preregistering?
For registrations received two weeks prior to auction start, credentials are mailed ahead of time allowing bidders to skip the on-site registration line and head straight into the auction.
Can I place bids before the auction?
proper-auctions allows for prebidding for most items and vehicles. In the prebidding process, bidders can also set a maximum proxy bid if they’d like to allow the system to bid on their behalf.

Bidder registration fees varies by bidding method and package options. Registration packages begin at $100.
